EXERCISE (post by Sam)
This post brings a big smile to our face… every day while we are away on this adventure, the boys are required to have some form of exercise. Last Tuesday, Sam was trying to convince Dave & I that playing with his new Chinese yo-yo would be good enough for his exercise that particular day. We did not agree and Sam continued to complain and protest! After listening to this for awhile, we told Sam that he was now required to write 400 words on “What is Exercise”. Sam thought this was the worst punishment ever and these are the 330 words he came up with: (read the many sports Sam thought of to get a good chuckle, including extreme sheep shearing).

The medical definition of exercise is this: Exercise is physical activity that is planned, structured, and repetitive for the purpose of conditioning any part of the body. Exercise is used to improve health, maintain fitness and is important as a means of physical rehabilitation.
The Webster dictionary definition of exercise is this: regular or repeated use of a faculty or bodily organ bodily exertion for the sake of developing and maintaining physical fitness.
