Lovely sunset view from our house. It is now fall here – it gets dark at 5pm! Staying light in Winnipeg until after 9pm will be amazing!
Matt & Sam finding fun and silly things to do around our house.
Yep, I had to take this photo! Josh’s second day of college. I love how Josh is having this wonderful opportunity to attend Hillsong Leadership College here in Sydney. I think he feels ready for college but he still has two years left of highschool to finish! http://hillsongcollege.com/
We like this place.
Haircuts at The Chop Shop in Bondi Beach.
Day trip to the Blue Mountains – a few hours drive from Sydney.
Seeing beautiful fall colours in May feels strange to me!
There was an art show on display that was quite interesting.
The worship and music at the church here has been incredible. So inspiring to be a part of. To hear amazing songwriters and worship leaders like Matt Crocker, Ben Fielding, Jonathon Douglass (J.D.) and Taya Smith has been amazing!

Happy Mother’s Day!

These two crack me up with their similar personalities! They have some similar looks too.
Beautiful buildings in downtown Sydney.
Love the Sydney Opera House.
We really enjoyed a one hour guided tour of the opera house.
Fun photos done in a green room and voila your family is magically transported to different spots.
Here we are again!
Beautiful views of Sydney from The Sydney Tower.
Matt & Sam getting ready for their first dive in Australia at Shelly Beach in Manly.
The divers in their group.
Another beautiful day. Apparently this is one of Sydney’s nicest falls in years. We have now been here almost three weeks and had mostly perfect sunshine and weather the entire time.
Spectacular clear water on this shore dive.
Matt & Sam were very excited to see many different things on their two dives here: Wobbegong Sharks, Cuttle Fish, huge Grouper, Stingrays and Wrasse.
Delicious Mr. Shrimp.
Most mornings we have been down to the spot at Balmoral Beach.
Loved, loved this place! The Featherdale Wildlife Park http://www.featherdale.com.au/….. Australian animals and tons of kangaroos, wallaby and koalas. Josh sadly missed out as he has been busy enjoying college.
So fun to feed these guys.
Ha – my face looks a bit concerned feeding a kangaroo for the first time. Nothing to worry about though – they nibble your hand so lightly – too cute!
Okay, this emu was crazy! He wanted all of our food and kept chasing us around…. I’m not a big fan of the emu!
A wombat… such a funny ‘so cute its ugly’ animal from Australia.
Love how their claws wrapped around my hand to eat.
Here comes that emu again!
Dave decided to feed it.
“Hey that emu bit my hand!”
I don’t know what it is about the kangaroo but I love them! So neat to see the different varieties of kangaroos too.
Sam loves the reptiles!
Dave and this large kangaroo having a staring contest.
The fun wombat again.
The very strange Tasmanian Devil. It has very fast and frantic movements and is also so ugly its cute!
The funny echidna (sometimes known as spiny anteaters).
I can’t get enough of these guys!
Ha – love it. Looks like we really like each other.
